Why does life have to be so awkward sometimes?… Or why do I have to be so stupid!

My guild on WOW is Eternity, and geez… the awkwardness Basically two guild members don’t like each other, one of them was explaining on guild chat that someone ripped him off. Naturally, I thought it was someone outside the guild and was trying to comfort him and people were asking for the thief’s name etc. Turns out the thief was an Officer in our guild, and the story was very one sided and made more sense when the officer explained his side. Yeah, but I had already said bad things about the officer to comfort the other guy, and spent the next 15 mins apologising like crazy.

That’s one of my many stupid awkward moments in my life, it happens a lot! Another one is when I was explaining to someone (in an online piano community) that, “I wouldn’t want to STILL be trying to express emotions in my piece by the time I turn 30!! (cause I’m currently 21, and in my offline community most people achieve this at 15!)”. And the guy goes, “What!? I’m ALMOST 30! T_T”

Ahhhhhhh, the awkwardness! It happens way too often, even on LJ! With my friends, with people I don’t know. Most of the time I just hide away and bash my head against a wall, I’m just too embarrassed to address the issue… and even if I did, I’d probably spend the rest of my life just addressing issues because it happens so often. So if I ever offend you, please keep in mind I’m a naive kid almost all the time and I’ve never had ill-feelings towards anyone!

The moral of this story is to just keep my mouth shut at ALL times!

Doom was pretty awesome! I really liked that first person shooter part, even if some found it “lame”, I still thought it was cool The movie stayed pretty true to the game~! (Despite the whole monsters from hell, etc etc bits) ^_^ The part that made my literally jump out of my seat was when that barrel fell off the balcony O_o; Everything else was fine… I’m weird o_o;;; But what makes an evening like this truly great is having the company for six great friends~ ^_^ Much love to you guys~ <3

In other news, seeing as I’m a huge Lano & Woodley fan, I have to say that the latest CD they released is soooo funny! *_* If you’re into that sort of humour, BUY IT! Very worth it!

Flipper is slow, and she FINALLY got to see that Leeroy Jenkin’s clip! omg! So funny! *lol* If you guys still haven’t seen it, and play WoW, have a look! And even if you don’t play WoW, so long as you know what MMORPGs are all about, it’s worth a look at what NOT to do at instances/dungeons. Dylan hates WoW, but loved the clip! XD;

O_o; Sometimes Flipper hates playing female characters on WoW, you attracted the weirdest people! Some guy she’s been friends with for a while ever since we met in a raid all of a sudden COMPLETED stopped talking to her, after he was flirting with Flipper (eww, random online guys flirting so gross, almost as bad as fan boys), she told him that she had a boyfriend, and he just logged off.

Argh! Talk about “caring about friendship” >_O

Flipper put down a deposit for Guild Wars this afternoon, because she is determined to play many more MMORPGs than just RO and WoW… plus a friend and Uni won’t shut up about it, and being a mere pawn of society, Flipper is easily lured by shiny things Yes, she is a pathetic gamer, if you can even call her that. Sibling = expert gamer, puts Flipper to shame constantly.

Don’t worry Sean, will try and get onto that private server for Lineage 2 when exams are over~

Hopefully once PS3 comes out in AU, she’ll go back to being a console junkie. Curse Sony and their ability to make good-looking shiny boxes!

Went down to EB today to pick up a few more games, and it was so… fun to finally meet someone offline who loves WoW! Most of Flipper’s gaming friends are strung up in Doom, CS and all those boring shoot them up games (okay not boring, but variety is the spice of life!) so she can’t really talk to anyone about WoW, cept her sibling. XD The sales guy was really enthusiastic about his characters, and was all, “Oh wow! You can get a mount really soon! Did you know that level 60 mounts cost 1000g? etc”. It was refreshing

Speaking of WoW, 60% till Flipper hits level 40, and she only has 17g. How on earth can people afford mounts!? How do they earn 100g by level 40? Do they stop buying their skills? Any WoW players out there with advice will receive Flipper’s undying love! XD

So Flipper has these three heavy books, reference books on the history of music. For the rest of the month she’ll hopefully be a good girl, and be doing proper research on her selected composers. So far she’ll be doing Bach and Haydn, so she’s spending a lot of time trying to get every detail of their life she can find! So fun! O_o; (in a strange way it is fascinating though)

Ah~ Flipper wish she had something more interesting to post! Like photos or something… soon enough ^_^

Oh wow! XD World of Warcraft is so addictive! It’s officially Flipper’s new addiction, her old one being RO~

Finally, Flipper is free to play as much RO/SIMS 2 as she likes, now that exams are over she has the time! But but… now that she has the time, she doesn’t feel like playing any of them! She’s so bored of them >_< Argh! Why be bored now? :_: And while she was studying, she has SO much inspiration and ideas for websites, and now? GONE! All gone! Now that she has the time, ALL GONE! *dies*

Flipper is tired of developing pixel art, she’s designing graphics for the video game her friends and her are developing~ Hopefully you guys will enjoy it once it’s finished! It’s fun!

Basically, it’s a racing game between you and a dragon (Artificial Intelligence/bot/robot), first one to get to the princess wins! So yeah, racing against the dragon is fun, cause he is SO evil! He shoved Flipper into a wall, and then turbo way in front of her!! How mean! Then the dragon will do things like, corner Flipper into a wall, then just turbo off again! Or when Flipper is turning a corner, it’ll shove her so she loses her momentum, and beat her! This is an evil evil dragon! But that’s what makes it so funny

Aside from the work load, Uni is great like that~ Being with a group of people you love, creating something this fun together and then just having giggle fits over how funny or silly it looks~ *^^* It’s great!
